. . .

— Going out into the cold, blustery weather last Thursday morning, an employee at the local Santa Fe shops found the mangled body of Car Inspector F. E. Seymour, who had evidently been killed sometime during the night when he was run over by several freight cars. Just how the accident could have happened, was unexplainable, since Mr. Seymour was a careful employee of long experience. According to the opinion of some, the strong northwind may have had something to do with his failure to escape before he was caught under the wheels of the train. Funeral services were held at the local Presbyterian church across the street from the Herald office.
