Bertha D. Scott, 88, died after a long illness. She was born on Dec. 7, 1891. She died at Bethesda Hospital in Motgomery. Mrs. Scott had operated a furniture store and had been a dress maker. Among the survivors are a son, Harold Brown of Champaign, Ill. and a daughter, Evelyn Brown Harrold of South Euclid. Preceding her in death were her parents, David and Katharina Hofstetter Maser, and brothers Glenn and Calvin Maser. — Mrs. Cora Miller.
