MOTHER OF 10 DIES SHORTLY AFTER BIRTH OF DAUGHTER

Berne, Ind. — Death came suddenly and unexpectedly on July 2 to Mrs. Joseph R. Schwartz at the Adams County Memorial Hospital in Decatur, only a few hours after the birth of a daughter.

A blood clot was given as the cause of death.

Funeral services were held at the family home seven miles northeast of Berne on Saturday, July 5, with Jos. L. Schwartz officiating.

Mrs. Schwartz was the mother of 10 children, all of whom survive, the oldest being 16 and the youngest is the new-born infant.
