HEDWIG SCHULZ<h3></center>

Hedwig Schulz died peacefully Feb. 12, 2005. She was born July 9, 1942 to Peter and Maria Reimer in Fernheim, Paraguay. Hedwig accepted Jesus as her Lord and Sav- iour and was baptized at 17. Hedwig lost her mother during this time. Household duties and care for younger siblings became her responsibility, causing her to rely on a strength that was far greater than her own. She immigrated to Canada in 1971 and, after a short courtship, married Cornelius Schulz in 1972. Many say the word "grace" epitomized Hedwig. She suffered from osteo- and rheumatoid arthritis and un- derwent many surgeries. After her husband's death in 1992, she raised two teenage daughters on her own, but not a word of complaint escaped from her lips . She spent a great deal of time in the Word and prayer. People who called to offer encouragement often found themselves encouraged. Prede- ceased by Cornelius, Hedwig is mourned by daughters Monika (Mark) and Evelyn; her stepmother; 2 sisters; 1 brother. The funeral was Feb . 21 , 2005 at North Kildonan MB

Church, Winnipeg.
