<br />
Kingwood, Ont. &#8212; Bishop Samuel L. Schultz, 83, died suddenly June 13 at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel N. Schultz, rural Wellesley.<br />
<br />
He was ordained to the ministry in 1938 and in 1941 was ordained bishop of the Mapleview Mennonite Church, Wellesley. For several years he was moderator of the Western Ontario Mennonite Conference, then known as the Ontario A. M. Conference.<br />
<br />
His wife, the former Anne Leis, died in 1964. Surviving in addition to the daughter are four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.<br />
<br />
Funeral services were conducted at the Mapleview Church on June 17.<br />
