MRS. KORNELIA SCHULTZ

Kornelia Peters Schultz was born on Feb.3, 1878 in Brown county, Minn. during her girlhood days the family moved to the Mt. Lake area.

On Jan. 23, 1902, she was united in marriage to Isaac Schultz and together they lived on a farm northeast of Mt. Lake. In 1918 they moved to another farm west of town, and in 1934 they retired and moved to town where they spent the remaining time of their lives.

Their home was blessed with a family of three sons and two daughters. One daughter died in infancy.

Mrs. Schultz was converted during her girlhood days and during her life manifested a steadfast and joyous Christina faith. In 1921, she and her husband joined the fellowship of the Alliance Missionary church, and for the 38 years she had been a faithful member of the congregation.

Death came unexpectedly at her home early Friday morning, Jan. 29. Death was due to a coronary thrombosis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac, who passed away Jan. 10, 1950, one daughter who died in infancy, and one granddaughter. Surviving her are one daughter and three sons, Helen, (Mrs. Jake Dick) of Bingham Lake, Willard of Munich, N. D., David and Albert of Mt. Lake, one sister, Susie (Mrs. Peter Rempel) of Mt. Lake; two brothers, John Peters and Jacob Peters of St. Paul; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Johnson chapel and at the Alliance Missionary church Feb. 1, with Rev. Irving Malm officiating. Interment was made in the Mt. Lake cemetery.
