MRS. C. D. SCHROEDER

Mrs. Susanna Schroeder, daughter of David and Henrietta Penner Karber, was born Dec. 1, 1888 at Marion, Kan. With her parents she moved to Fairview, Okla. when she was five years old.

In January 1902, she confessed her faith in Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour and Lord, and on March 31, 1902 was baptized by Rev. M. M. Just and received into the fellowship of the Fairview Mennonite Brethren Church.

She was united in marriage to Cornelius D. Schroeder on Aug. 3, 1910. After living in the Hillsboro community one year, and the Fairview community four years, they moved to Hooker, Okla. in August of 1915 where they resided the remainder of their lives. This marriage was blessed with six children. Her husband preceded her in death in 1944.

Upon moving to this community she became an active member of the Adams Mennonite Brethren Church where she was a member at the time of her death. She maintained a steadfast devotion to God and desired that His will be realized in her life.
