| + | • Funeral services for Mrs. P. P. Schroeder, 85, were held Thursday forenoon, Oct. 23, at the First Mennonite church. Re. Arnold Epp, the pastor, officiated. Mrs. Schroeder, the former Margaret Schmidt, died Oct. 21 at the Bethesda Home in Goessel where she had resided for a short time. She had been a resident of Newton for 52 years and a member of First Church for more than 50 years. Surviving are her husband of the home on West 11th street, two daughters, Hulda of San Bernadino [''sic'' San Bernardino], Calif. and Edith of Newton; one son, Allison of Newton; two grandchildren, three sisters and two brothers. |

• Funeral services for Mrs. P. P. Schroeder, 85, were held Thursday forenoon, Oct. 23, at the First Mennonite church. Re. Arnold Epp, the pastor, officiated. Mrs. Schroeder, the former Margaret Schmidt, died Oct. 21 at the Bethesda Home in Goessel where she had resided for a short time. She had been a resident of Newton for 52 years and a member of First Church for more than 50 years.
