Mt. Lake, Minn. — George G. Schroeder, 70, former Cottonwood County deputy treasurer, died May 18 at the Minneapolis Veterans Hospital. He had been a county official for nearly 25 years.
He was a member of the First Mennonite Church, where funeral services were conducted on May 22 by Rev. Willard Wiebe and Rev. J. J. Esau. His wife, one son, and two grandchildren survive.
