MRS. P. M. SCHROEDER
Mrs. P. M. (Agnes) Schroeder, daughter of Peter and Sarah Voth Schmidt, was born on Feb. 3, 1891, in Marion county, Kansas.
She received her elementary education in the Emma Valley school district.
On May 15, 1910, she was baptized upon confession of faith in her Redeemer by Rev. Abr. Ratzlaff and received into the Alexanderwohl Mennonite church where she retained her membership until her death.
She was united in marriage Dec. 19, 1914. To this union were born five children. The duration of this marriage was 38 years and five months.
The departed enjoyed normal good health most of her life. In the last few years of her life ill-health became apparent and she suffered a great deal. She was taken to the hospital at Goessel, and later also found it necessary to be taken to the Axtell Christian hospital where every possible medical care was given her. She passed away on May 19, 1953 reaching the age of 62 years, three months, and 16 days.
