KENNETH EARL SCHROEDER

Kenneth Earl Schroeder, son of Armin and Katie Isaak Schroeder, was born Dec. 30, 1927 in American Falls, Ida., and was killed in a highway accident near American Falls on Sept. 9, 1966 at the age of 38 years.

On Dec. 30, 1949 he was married to Elda Voth of Aberdeen, Ida.

Kenneth was active in farming, working in partnership with his father and brothers, raising prize Hereferd [sic Hereford] cattle. He attended Bethel College, North Newton, Kan., for three years, and while in high school and in college took an active interest in sports. He enjoyed fishing, boating and hunting.

Kenneth was baptized upon his confession of faith Dec. 14, 1941 and was an active member of the First Mennonite Church of Aberdeen. He served as a member of the Palisades Camp Grounds Committee.

He is survived by one son, John; two daughters, Pamela and Gwendolyn, and by his estranged wife, Elda. He is also survived by his parents, two brothers, William and Clarence of American Falls, and two sisters, Anna, Mrs. Richard Crisman of Heyburn, Ida/, and Bonnie, Mrs. Jerome Kaufman of Moudnrige, Kan.

The memorial service was conducted by Rev. Wilfred Ulrich at the First Mennonite Church of Aberdeen and burial was in the Homestead Cemetery.
