MRS ISAAC SCHROEDER
Mrs. Isaac Schroeder was born to Deacon and Mrs. John Schellenberg on Nov. 26, 1884 in Nikopohl, South Russia. As a teenager she realized her lost condition and accepted Christ as her personal Saviour. On Aug. 12, 1905, she was baptized and accepted into the M. B. Church.
During her youth in Ignakawoka she met her beloved husband, Isaac Schroeder. They were married on Sept. 30, 1903, and sailed for Canada three weeks after their wedding, arriving in Winkler, Manitoba. In less than two years mother and dad and their firstborn son came to Main Centre , Sask. and took up a homestead. Here the Lord blessed, physically and spiritually. The Lord blessed this union with nine sons and seven daughters. Her husband, two sons and one daughter preceded her in death.
She was the last of the Schroeders and also the last of the Schellenbergs. Dad and mother retired and moved to Herbert, Sask. in 1941. In December 1959 they joined the greater part of the family at Swift Current, Sask. On March 2, 1960 Dad was called Home.
During the last six years the daughters have faithfully taken care of mother under the supervision of Emma Schroeder, G.N., who has been carrying the load for the last 15 years. Mother went to meet her Maker on Dec. 5, 1966.
