• David H. Schroeder, 78, retired farmer of the Buhler community died unexpectedly at Grace Hospital in Hutchinson on Jan. 31. He had only recently retired and moved to Buhler. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Mennonite Brethren church in Buhler, with Rev. R. M. Baerg in charge.
