KICK FROM A HORSE IS FATAL TO ARTHUR EDWIN SCHROEDER AT WALTON

Friends were deeply grieved to hear of the death of Arthur Edwin Schroeder, son of Jacob and Anna (Peters) Schroeder early last Friday morning in a local hospital.

Arthur had been making his home with his grandmother, Mrs. Anna Peters on a farm near Walton. He was accidentally kicked by a horse on Wednesday evening. The injury however, did not seem serious and he is reported to have slept quite comfortably during the following night. Later he complained of severe pains in the abdomen. He was brought to the hospital, where his condition became increasingly serious and he passed away on Friday morning.

Funeral services held Monday afternoon at the First Mennonite church were very largely attended.
