— Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Schoeder [sic Schroeder], widow of the late D. D. Schroeder, were held at the First Mennonite church of Newton on Monday and were largely attended. Mrs. Schroeder died last Wednesday night at the Bethel Hospital after a prolonged illness. She was 81 years old. After the funeral here another service was held at the Grace Hill church, where interment was made. The departed mother is survived by the following children: Mrs. W. W. Toevs, Wichita, Mrs. Gus Andres, Mrs. Ernest Claassen; Mrs. H. Caldrich of California; Mrs. Herbert Stucky of Moundridge; Herman and Adolph of California, and Gus Schroeder of Newton.
