Goshen, Ind. — An accident at the Eric Schrock farm southwest of New Paris the afternoon of Aug. 19 claimed the life of the Schrocks' five-year-old daughter, Rita Joann.
The little girl fell from a bicycle she was riding near the barn, and was run over by a manure spreader pulled by a tractor. her brother Dale, 14, was operating the tractor.
The funeral was conducted Thursday at the Bethel Conservative Mennonite Church.
