TWO-YEAR-OLD DIED IN UNUSUAL MISHAP
Arthur, Ill. — An unusual accident at the John A. Schrock farm on Nov. 21 claimed the life of the Schrock’s two-year-old son, Joseph. The boy was standing with his five-year-old brother, Ervin, watching the father raise a corn dump elevator from a crib. A horse being used in the operation was frightened, causing the elevator to drop, and the younger child ran into the object’s path.
The parents, four brothers, two sisters, and the grandparents survive. Funeral services were held on Sunday, Nov. 23.
