ONE KILLED, TWO ARE INJURED IN CHRISTMAS DAY COLLISION
Orrville, Ohio. — John H. Schrock, 53, of the Smithville community was fatally injured in a two-car collision in Wooster on Christmas day. Severely injured in the crash were his daughter Alice Mae, 26, and his wife, Esther.
Funeral services for Mr. Schrock were held Dec. 29 at the Pleasant View Mennonite church near here. A native of Indiana, he had lived in New York and Virginia before moving to a farm near Smithville in April 1955. He was a member of the Bethel Conservative Church at Gladys, Va.
Mr. Schrock was driving the car when another motorist failed to observe a stop sign and drove into his path. Passengers in the back seat, who were uninjured, were Mrs. Schrock's father, C. L. Ressler, and her brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. John Ressler and infant son of York, Penn.
