Two Amish Bishops Called by Death

Sugarcreek, Ohio. — Two Old Order Amish bishops of this community were called away in death within less than a week’s time. Eli N. Schrock, 71, died Nov. 12 at the home on Route 2, Sugarcreek. His wife, the former Barbara Muller, died in 1967. Surviving are five daughters, four sons, and 42 grandchildren.

Dan N. Stutzman, 56, also of Route 2, Sugarcreek, died Nov. 16 at Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg. He leaves his widow, the former Mary Ann Miller, two daughters and one son; two grandchildren; and his father, Noah Stutzman of rural Sugarcreek.
