Richard D. Schrag, 80, of Moundridge, father of Dale Schrag of Newton and brother of Esther Schrag of Hesston, died April 4 at Mercy Hospital, Moundridge. Funeral services were held April 8 at Eden Mennonite Church, rural Moundridge. Walter Friesen, Ed R. Stucky and Donovan Graber officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. He was a retired farmer and a lifetime Moundridge resident. Other survivors include his wife, Lizzie (Krehbiel); one other son, Dwaye of Fort Worth, Texas; two daughters, Kay Ann Fransen of Normal, Ill., and Joann Reeves of Spring Green, Wis.; three brothers, Orlin, Edwin and Harold, all of Moundridge; three other sisters, Cora Stucky, Ruth Wedel and Ethel Juhnke, all of Moundridge; and five grandchildren.

NEWTON & VICINITY

Richard D. Schrag, 80, of Moundridge, father of Dale Schrag of Newton and brother of Esther Schrag of Hesston, died April 4 at Mercy Hospital, Moundridge. Funeral services were held April 8 at Eden Mennonite Church, rural Moundridge. Walter Friesen, Ed R. Stucky and Donovan Graber officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
