Freeman, S. D. — A largely attended funeral took place at the Salem-Zion Mennonite Church on April 25 as services were held for Rev. John J. A. Schrag, 88, well-known retired pastor.
Rev. Schrag died at the Freeman Hospital on April 22 after a long period of failing health. All of the family members, including his sons who are prominent in educational and religious work, were present for the funeral.
