text of obituary:

MRS. ERNEST E. SCHRAG, (Olga Miller), daughter of Peter and Anna Miller, was born at Marion, S. D., Feb., 28, 1900. She was baptized upon her confession of faith in Jesus Christ, her personal Savior, Sept. 10, 1916, and became a member of the Salem-Zion Church, which she served faithfully with her God-given talents. In 1921 she graduated from Freman [sic] College Academy. And in September of the same year she was united in marriage to Ernest E. Schrag with whom she shared many blessings and joys, with some griefs and disappointments, for 19 years. The union was blessed with one son, LeRoy, and two daughters, Loraine and Glennis. After her marriage she had her membership transferred to the Salem Mennonite Church at Freeman, S. D. Here, too, she took an active part in all the activities of the church. She was a true Christian. Her friendliness, her willingness to share with others, and her hospitality endeared her to all who knew her. As a true, devoted mother she made a real home for her family. Her life was short, but she has finished her course, she has fought a good fight, she has kept the faith.

About a year ago a thorough physical examination disclosed the fact that she was suffering from a malignant malanosarcoma [sic] type of cancer. This discovery cast a dark cloud on the happy home. Medical aid was sought in different places, but slowly the malignant cancer did its deadly work. When she realized her condition she busied herself more than ever in making provisions for her family. Her spiritual preparation was also taken care of. On January 25, after a severe pain attack, she became bedfast. She suffered patiently and sought help in the grace of Christ. In the morning of February 13, she passed peacefully on to be with her Savior, at the age of 40 years, 11 months, and 15 days.

She is mourned by her grief-stricken husband, her son, and her two daughters, her aged father, her mother-in-law, six sisters, two brothers, and a large circle of relatives and friends.
