— Esther Schrag, 59, a dietary aide at Memorial Home for the Aged, Moundridge, and a Moundridge resident for 39 years, died Aug. 12 at the home. She was the mother of Jo Ann Arrowsmith of Newton. Graveside services were held Aug. 14 at Eden Mennonite Cemetery, rural Moundridge. The services were followed by a memorial service at Eden Mennonite Church, with Don Longbottom officiating. Other survivors include her husband, Paul, two sons, John of Moundridge and Jerry of Fort Worth, Texas; two other daughters, Jane Childs and Jeanette Fast, both of Hutchinson; two brothers, Ralph Schroeder of Kingman and Lester Schroeder of Sioux Falls, S. D., three sisters, Hulda Goering and Viola Stucky, both of Pretty Prairie, and Phoebe Naffziger of Harper; one half-brother, Elmer Schroeder of Geneseo; two half-sisters, Lydie Voth of Little River and Mabel Schmidt of Newton; and 10 grandchildren.
