Funeral services were held Nov. 12 at the Meridian Mennonite Church, Hesston, for Henry W. Schneider. A retired farmer, he died Nov. 7 at Atmore, Ala. He was married in 1927 to the former Marie Ratzlaff and they farmed near Hesston until her death in 1967. He is survived by three sons, Earl of Walker, Mo., Marvin of McDavid, Fla. and Ervin of Atmore; three daughters, Velma (Mrs. Ervy) Wenger of Atmore, Evelyn (Mrs. Wayne) Rutschman of Hesston and Carolyn (Mrs. Reinhard) Regier of Newton; two brothers, Albert of Moundridge and Clarence of rural Moundridge; two sisters, Clara Schneider of rural Moundridge and Mrs. Minnie Colvin of Newton; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
