HALSTEAD RESIDENT CALLED BY DEATH
Halstead, Kans. — Funeral services were held at the Grace Mennonite church near here Sunday afternoon, June 20, for Mrs. Lydia Schmidt, 53, who died June 16 at the Halstead hospital after a brief illness. She lived in this community most of her life.
Surviving are one daughter Juanita, at home, three sisters and four brothers. Her husband, Jacob Schmidt, died in 1948.
