• Funeral services for Mrs. C. H. (Katy) Schmidt, 83, were held Saturday forenoon at the Tabor Mennonite Church, with Rev. Ed. R. Stucky officiating. Mrs. Schmidt and her husband who died in 1964 farmed for many years northwest of Walton. In December 1965 she entered the Bethesda Home at Goessel and death came on Aug. 6 at the Bethesda Hospital. Surviving are sons Clarence of Ferndale, Wash., Charles of Hesston, Harold of Kingman, Milton of Walton, and Earl of Pawnee Rock; four daughters, Mrs. John Schmidt of Ferndale, Mrs. Arnold Zielke of Newton, Mrs. Otto Unruh of rural Newton, and Mrs. Elmer Schrag for Kingman; four brothers, one sister, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

• Funeral services for Mrs. C. H. (Katy) Schmidt, 83, were held Saturday forenoon at the Tabor Mennonite Church, with Rev. Ed. R. Stucky officiating.
