Schmidt and former resident of the Grace Hill community east of Newton, died Saturday at the Schmidt nursing home in Moundridge where she had been a patient the past three years. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Grace Hill Mennonite Church, with Rev. Edmund J. Miller in charge. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Elsie Harms of Newton; three sons, Aaron of South Bend, Ind., Rev. John F. of North Newton, and Tobias of Newton; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. |

• Mrs. Elizabeth Schmidt, 86, widow of Jacob B.
