— Funeral services for Ben B. Schmidt, 79, of Hillsboro were held Feb. 19 at the First Mennonite Church there, Rev. H. T. Unruh of North Newton officiating. Mr. Schmidt died at Salem Hospital in Hillsboro on Feb. 16. A native of Poland, he came to this country in 1903. Survivors include his widow, Agnes, four sons and three daughters. Mrs. Phil Regier, a daughter, lives near Newton.
