Accident at Elkhart Claims Life of Girl

Goshen, Ind. — Injuries suffered in a traffic accident at Elkhart Monday evening, Dec. 13,proved fatal early Wednesday morning, Dec. 15, to three-year-old Doriana Schlabach, daughter of Mr. and mrs. Lloyd Schlabach of Newhall, Calif.

The Schlabach family was visiting at the parental Simon Schlabach home at 1812 Frances Street, Elkhart. The little girl was a passenger in a car being backed from the driveway at her grandparents' hme when it was struck by a car driven by a 21-year-old Elkhart motorist. She was taken to Elkhart General Hospital, where she died.
