Young Man Killed in Manitoba Mine

Winnipeg, Man. — A 150-foot fall while working 1,700 feet underground in a northern Manitoba mine claimed the life of Edward Schiller, 22, formerly of Winnipeg.

The young man, employed as a surveyor's helper in the nickel mine, apparently stepped into a hole in the mine shaft floor. The only son of Mrs. Minnie Schiller, he was a member of the Elmwood M. B. Church here.
