AGED RESIDENT OF EUREKA HOME CALLED AWAY IN DEATH JUNE 30
Eureka, Ill. — Mrs. Rose Schertz, 80 year old resident of the Mennonite Home for Aged here, passed away Wednesday, June 30. She had lived in the home for five years.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 3, at the East Bend Mennonite church near Gibson City. Rev. Samuel Ummel, and Rev. Roy Unzicker were in charge.
Grandmother Schertz was born at Carlock but lived in the Saybrook and Fisher communities for much of her life.
