Son of Former M. B. Editor Drowns
Corn, Okla. — Word was received here that Abe Schellenberg drowned in New Mexico on Oct. 9.
Mr. Schellenberg was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Schellenberg of Hillsboro, Kan. A. L. Schellenberg was an editor of "Vorwaerts," Mennonite Brethren Church publication published from 1910 to 1940.
The funeral services were held at Las Cruces, N M. on Oct. 11. Among those attending were Rev. and Mrs. Albert Epp of Corn. Mrs. Epp is a sister of Mrs. Abe Schellenberg (the former Susie Bartel), widow of the deceased. Other survivors include a son and a daughter.
