MURRAY SCHELLENBERG
Murray Beno Schellenberg passed away suddenly on July 31, at the age of 10 years, Murray spent a happy childhood at Main Centre, Saskatchewan, He made his all important experience with Christ on October 20, 1968 at the Campbell Riese Crusade at Herbert, He attended Sunday school and church willingly, showing a keen interest in the Bible, While observing his grandfather rewriting portions of the Bible in his own language, Murray started re-writing the Gospel of John too.
He proved his convictions by his daily life. Murray was willing to make corrections, even though he found it hard. He had a very pleasant disposition, working, studying, and playing hard. It seemed he put all his energy into whatever he did. He enjoyed all sports, especially baseball and hockey.
On Friday afternoon, July 31, Murray met his death instantly when he fell from a hay-rack and was crushed beneath its wheels. The family is comforted to know that he is with Jesus, He was predeceased by his twin brother Robert at birth.
He is survived by his parents, Beno and Reanetta, two brothers, Larry and Randy, one sister, Pearl, both grandparents, the B.C. Schellenbergs of Swift Current and the Jake Siemens of Herbert, many aunts and uncles, a host of cousins, and many, many friends.
