John Sawatsky, 78 of St. Catharines, Ont., died on January 22 of a heart condition and complications. He was married to the former Elizabeth Dyck, and was a member of the M.B. church. He had lived in Hepburn for some time, and was a colporteur of the British and Foreign Bible Society from 1920-1933. Funeral services were held in the St. Catharines M.B. Church with Rev. R. Penner and J. Vold officiating. Mourners include his wife, 1 son and seven daughters.
