Church Leader, Pastor For 40 Years, Died At New Holland, Pa.

New Holland, Pa. — Death removed one of the oldest ministers in this community, in the passing of Rev. Noah N. Sauder, 82, who died at his home here on July 3 after and extended illness.

Funeral services were held July 7 at the New Holland Mennonite Church, where he had been a minister for over 40 years.

During his long years of service, Rev. Sauder's interests extended far beyong [sic] his local community and church. He was active in various conference boards and traveled extensively at home and abroad, at various times going to Europe, Africa and the Holy Land in promotion of the mission cause.

Together with other partners, he helped found the Souder [sic Sauder] Bros. farm machinery company of New Holland.

On Oct. 15, 1964, he and his wife commemorated their 60th wedding anniversary. Seven children and their families survive.
