Polio Sufferer Dies After Long Illness

Ephrata, Pa. — One of two sisters disabled by an attack of polio in 1965 died in the hospital here Oct. 10 at the age of 24.

She was Miriam Sauder, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Sauder of rural Reinholds. Miriam and her sister Mildred were stricken within a week's time and both became critically ill. Various agencies assisted in their treatment.

Funeral services for Miriam were held at the Springville Mennonite Church, of which she was a member.
