7-YEAR-OLD LANCASTER COUNTY FARM YOUTH CRUSHED UNDER TRACTOR

Lancaster, Penna. — Glen Robert Sauder, seven year old son of H. Richard and Ruth Sauder, was crushed to death under a tractor while attempting to pull a neighbor’s truck out of the mud near his home March 13. With the tractor attached to the truck by a chain, he apparently lost control of the machine and it was jerked over backward, killing him instantly.

Funeral services were held at the Millersville Mennonite church on March 16.

In addition to his parents, he leaves a sister and two brothers and his maternal grandparents Benj. Denlingers.
