Mrs. Karolina Sanner

Mrs. Karolina Sanner died Wednesday morning, march 8, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. D. Stucky, 315 Pike street, Monroe, Washington, following an extended illness.

Mrs. Sanner was born September 12, 1862, in Horodischt, South Russia, and came to the United States of America in 1874. She has been a resident of Monroe for many years.

She attained the age of 76 years, 5 months and 26 days. She leaves to mourn, one daughter, Mrs. J. D. Stucky, and one granddaughter, Miss Edna Stucky and many relatives, friends and acquaintances; not without hope but full assurance that we all shall meet her in heaven again.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 11, at 1:30 p.m., at the First Mennonite church of Monroe of which she had been a faithful member. Rev. M. M. Lehmann spoke words of comfort in German on Psalm 23 and he also spoke in English on John 14: 1 - 3.

A quartet snag the following comforting songs: "Unsere Heben Begruszen Wir Dort." "We are Traveling Home."
