Wayland, Iowa. &#8212; Funeral services for Wesley Dean Roth, 30, a native of this community who was killed in a recent highway accident, were held at the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church here Nov. 26.

Mr. Roth, who operated a barber shop in Burlington, Iowa, was fatally hurt in a one-car crash the day before Thanksgiving. He was a passenger in a car driven by Dr. Donald Bedell, Jr., Burlington dentist, when it went out of control and overturned near Wapello, Iowa. Bedell also was killed. the two had been on a hunting trip.

Mr. Roth grew up in this community and attended the local schools. He was married to the former Lucille Wenger, who survives with their three children; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Roth of Wayland; one brother, Donald of Charleston, Ill.; and his grandmother, Mrs. P. J. Roth of Wayland.

Native of Wayland, Ia. Dies in Auto Accident

Wayland, Iowa. — Funeral services for Wesley Dean Roth, 30, a native of this community who was killed in a recent highway accident, were held at the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church here Nov. 26.

Mr. Roth, who operated a barber shop in Burlington, Iowa, was fatally hurt in a one-car crash the day before Thanksgiving. He was a passenger in a car driven by Dr. Donald Bedell, Jr., Burlington dentist, when it went out of control and overturned near Wapello, Iowa.
