MRS. KATHERYN [sic KATHRYN] ROTH

Mrs. Katheryn [sic Kathryn] Roth, 72, a Nampa, Idaho resident since 1926, died Aug. 3, 1954.

Mrs. Roth was born June 10, 1882, at Delavan, Ill. She was married to William W. Roth at Hopedale, Ill. Jan. 1, 1908. Before coming to Nampa the family lived in Nebraska, Colorado and Montana.

Mrs. Roth was a member of the Nampa Mennonite church. She had been in poor health for a number of years.

Surviving are her husband, William W. Roth, of Nampa; three daughters. Mrs. Esther Spangenburg of Nampa. Mrs. Edna Zuercher of Caldwell, Ida., and Mrs. Delma Zuercher of Salt Lake City, Utah; four brothers, Samuel Birky of Pullan [sic Pullman], Mich., Jacob Birkey [sic Birky] of Valparaiso, Ind., Christian Birkey [sic Birky] of Manson, Iowa, and Lee Birkey [sic Levi Birky] of Wanatah, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Magadalene[sic Magdalena] Kauffman of Hopedale, Ill. and Mrs. Bertha Kipfer of Rolfe, Iowa; a number of half-brothers and sisters, three stepbrothers and nine grandchildren.

Through all her illness Sister Katheryn [sic Kathryn] remained cheerful. To know her was to love her.

Funeral services were held at the Nampa Mennonite church Friday, Aug. 6. Bishop E. S. Garber in charge. She was laid to rest in the Kahlerlawn [sic Kohlerlawn] cemetery.
