— Word was received here that Richard A. Rosenthal, 70, former resident of Newton, died July 1 at the home of a son, Kenneth L. Rosenthal, in Teaneck, N. J. the elder Mr. Rosenthal had visited here in spring but was in ill health and underwent surgery at the Kansas University Medical Center. Death was due to a heart attack. Among the survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Henry P. Buller of Lawrence, a son Gerhard M. Rosenthal of Newton. Funeral services were conducted in New York City and the body is to be returned here for burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
