Born in South Russia, she came to the Goessel community with her parents in 1874. In 1925 she was married to H. J. Rose, who died in October of this year. A brother, B. H. Schmidt of Newton, survives. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Alexanderwohl Church by Rev. Aaron Epp. |
