text of obituary:

Founder of U. S. Nazi Party Assassinated

Followers of George Lincoln Rockwell, founder and leader of the American Nazi Party who was killed by a sniper at Arlington, Va. last week, had difficulty burying his body because of interference by federal troops.

Permission had been given to bury Rockwell in the Culpepper (Va.) National Cemetery but this was withdrawn on an order that all Nazi insignia and uniforms would be banned from the cemetery. About 50 of the mourners had appeared in full Nazi uniforms bearing swastikas and among the floral pieces was a large swastika composed of red carnations and a Nazi flag in red, white and black flowers.

Rockwell was a rabble-rousing speaker who spoke at many colleges and universities during his flamboyant career.
