Fatal Accident On Kansas Highway

Larned, Kans. — A head-on collision of two cars on a highway near here Dec. 16 claimed the lives of Mrs. E. K. Roberson and daughter Sherry Ann of Larned and resulted in injuries to four young men employed at the Larned State hospital.

The injured, all hospitalized here, were James Sexton, leg fracture, cuts and bruises; Willis Schantz, Nelson Funk and Wesley Boese, all of whom suffered lacerations and bruises. All are engaged in I-W service at the mental hospital here.

The two cars collided near the center of the road during a light snowstorm, and the mother and daughter, members of a well known Larned family, were dead when taken from the wreckage.
