ELSIE MAY RINKENBERGER

Elsie May Rinkenberger was born in Fairbury, Ill. on June 5, 1894, the youngest of eight children of Joseph and Caroline Griener Householder. She was reared and educated din the Fairbury area.

She taught school prior to her marriage to Herman Rinkenberger on Oct. 13, 1926. They lived in rural Bradford on the family farm where her husband has resided all his life.

She died at age 86 on Dec. 15, 1980 in Mesa, Ariz., where she and her husband were spending the winter months. A memorial service was held at the Willow Springs Mennonite Church of Tiskilwa, Ill., on Apr. 26, 1981. She was a member of the Willow Springs church.

Surviving are her husband, a son, Jack of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a sister, Minnie (Mrs. Clarence) Rinkenberger of Bradford, Ill.; and three grandchildren, James, Steve and Sharon.

She was preceded in death by a son, Dale; two brothers, William and Fred Householder; and sisters, Carrie, Lucy (Mrs. E. F.) Law, Ida (Mrs. Chriss) Schertz and Emma (Mrs. Jonas) Albrecht.
