text of obituary:
MRS. SARAH RIEDIGER, 50
Mrs. Sarah Riediger, 50, was born in Didsbury, Alta. At the age of 13 she accepted Christ as her Saviour and was baptized in 1936, joining the M. B. church at Vauxhall. In 1939 she was united in marriage to Jacob Riediger. Her Godly influence was a strong factor in the early conversion of all her nine children. She served her Lord gladly, teaching in the Sunday School and visiting the sick in spite of frequent ill health.
Four years ago she was discovered to have cancer and early this year she was declared to be beyond medical aid.
On June 8th she entered the local Tofield hospital. Her final days were spent in perfect peace and submission to God's will.
On June 12 at 6:60 a.m after the family had again committed her to God in prayer, she added a hearty "Amen," whereupon her heart failed, and she went to meet her Redeemer with outstretched arms.
Funeral services were held in the Tofield M.B. church with Rev. Goertz (Edmonton) and Rev. Henry Unruh (Vauxhall) officiating.
She leaves to mourn her husband nine children, three brothers and four sisters, and many other relatives.
