● Esther R. (Reimer) Richert, 82, of Goessel, a mailing department employee of Herald Publishing Co. and United Printing, both of Newton, died Nov. 17 at St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Wichita. Funeral services were held Nov. 20 at Goessel Mennonite Church, with Allen Lind officiating. Burial was in Goessel Cemetery. A longtime Goessel area resident, she was a member of the Missions Friends Sewing Circle and the Goessel Women’s Christian Association. Survivors include one son, David of Wichita; two brothers, Herbert Reimer of Goessel and Allen Reimer of Black Mountain, N. C.; one sister, Stella Unruh of Moundridge; and five grandchildren. Her husband, Orlando, died in 1983.
