ELAM R. RICHARD

Elam R. Richard, 73, of Seville, Ohio, died April 5, 1993, at his farm. He was born Jan. 20, 1920, at Sterling to Michel and Anna (Stuckey) Richard. He married Eva Shisler on Sept. 5, 1943. She survives.

He lived in the Seville area all his life and was a farmer.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are four children, Suzanne Short and her husband, Peter, and Sally Schreck and her husband, Kenton, all of Goshen, Ind.; James M. of Wooster and Dale D. of San Francisco; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Letha Zook of Orrville and Clela Johnson of Marshallville.

Services were held April 8 at Oak Grove Mennonite Church, Smithville, with James Schrag and Elsie Miller officiating.
