BERNHARD W. REMPEL

ernhard W. (Ben) Rempel died July 14. He was born Sept. 16, 191/;i to Wilhelm and Margaretha Rempel in Gruenfeld, Russa . At 6, he immigrated with his family to Canada. At 12, Ben accepted Christ as Saviour. In 1943, he married Anna Pen- Sara , and Mariechen; brother Johann; nephews and nieces. The memorial service was July 27 at Clearbrook MB Church, Abbotsford, B.C. Eva Schartner George Richards died Aug. 4. He was born Nov. nero Ben was actively involved in the Domain 18, 1915 in Winnipeg to Samuel and Susanna (Man.) MB Church, where he taught Sunday school and sang in the male chorus. He loved Richards, the second youngest of 7 children. Eva Schartner died George owned and operated Richards Electric in farming, and remained optimistic and thankful July 21. She was born Vancouver, and was known as a fair and honest during all his years as a farmer in Osborne, Man. Nov. 26, 1918 in Swal- businessman. Predeceased by Tobe; 16 siblings; she is mourned by sons Dellan (Edith), Ray (Vivian), Tim (Ida), and Randy (Jewel); daughters Alma-Jean (Bud) Peters, Dawn (John) Sparreboom; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grand- children; 1 brother. Esther M. Fredlund (Ruth); 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. died peacefully Aug. The funeral service was July 18 at Portage Ave. 24 with her children at MB Church, Winnipeg.
