Rempel. — Jakob Rempel, im Alter von 60 Jahren, 6 Monaten und 29 Tagen. Das Begräbnis fand am 10. Februar statt. Eine große Anzahl von Verwandten, Bekannten und Freunden von nah und fern hatten sich eingefunden. Worte des Trostes sprachen die Brüder John Plenert, P. Mouttet und P. H. Unruh; Br. J. H. Epp sprach das Gebet am Grabe.
